Old Chapel Centre, The Tye, Alfriston

Yoga therapy retreat for stress, trauma recovery, regulation & rest

Saturday 5 September
Old Chapel Centre, Alfriston

Optional Sunday: Cuckmere Pilgrim Path Integration Walk

Therapeutic Yoga for Trauma Recovery is a healing method combining Polyvagal Theory with the practices, principles and philosophy of Yoga, developed by Dr Arielle Schwartz. You can read more about it here.

A day to slow down, settle and reconnect

This gentle retreat day offers a warm, trauma-informed space to pause, soften, and support your nervous system.

Through mindful movement, breathwork, nervous system regulation, fascia flow, sound healing, reflection and rest, you will be guided through a nurturing day of reconnection with your body, your breath and your inner sense of safety.

You do not need any previous experience of yoga, meditation or therapeutic work. Everything will be offered gently, with choice, permission and space to adapt.

This day may be for you if you are:

Feeling stressed, overwhelmed or depleted
Longing for rest, grounding and space to breathe
Recovering from trauma, burnout or prolonged stress
